When you think of Beyoncé, you automatically think of a woman who is slaying. You think of a woman who is willing to bet on herself and follow through. But, more importantly, due to her impact on today’s culture, her music has given so many women a voice and so many women that you-can’t-tell-me-nothing confidence to achieve their goals. Here are some of the reasons why she’s a constant inspiration:

She’s a business owner. Owning Parkwood Entertainment and other ventures, Beyoncé does not play when it comes to her business. Her brand has amassed millions based on her work ethic and undeniable talent. This shows you that hard work never goes out of style, and in order to be the best, you have to practice and execute at a high level of excellence. Eventually, that consistency all pays off.

She’s real. Lemonade and Beyoncé were ground-breaking albums that were centered on the everyday woman’s experience: heartbreak, passion, fun, and self-worth. It demonstrated the power of being transparent and that being yourself is what really resonates. I think we all can take a page from her book; becoming more truthful and authentic in our daily lives.

She stands up for her beliefs. Whether it is contributing her talent and celebrity to major social justice campaigns or promoting women’s equality, Beyoncé has forever been on the forefront of change. Regardless of what is going on in our lives, it’s important for us as women to raise our voices when we’re concerned or when we simply want to be heard. Others are counting on us-even if we realize it or not.

She balances many roles-just like everyday women. She’s an artist, fashion designer, a wife, a mother, and a woman. And, the list goes on. And yet, she breaks glass ceilings, creates opportunities for those around her to thrive, and pushes her vision. She sets one goal, crushes it, and begins prepping for the next goal. So imagine what you all could accomplish if you didn’t let the fear of failure hinder you?

In this year, it is time for women to stand up like never before and claim their fearlessness. Whenever you’re feeling down or like you can’t do it, turn on some Bey and get to moving. Nothing can stop you unless you let it stop you.
