Fearless 40 Dinner in Partnership with Facebook & Refinery 29 Recap
Wow! We are still on a high from our Fearless 40 Dinner in partnership with Facebook and our media sponsor Refinery 29. To see something you worked tirelessly on for months, come into fruition is such a blessing. That’s how our Fearless Founder, Arian Simone felt after seeing her vision come to pass. The Fearless 40 Dinner was created to celebrate 40 dynamic female entrepreneurs, creatives, and innovators making powerful moves. Our Fearless 40 List includes women in trailblazing industries such as beauty, media, entertainment, fashion, food, health and wellness, home and interior design, philanthropy, and technology.
The Fearless 40 Dinner took place at beautiful The Dream Hollywood in L.A. Our event designer was Nelson, of the The Other Half, brought our vision to reality. Every detail was impeccable from start to finish.
The photo opts kept going all night. Everyone could not wait to take a picture in front of the FEARLESS wall. The stars aligned as soon as the honorees arrived. From Sophia Amorousa, to Sarah Jakes Roberts and Toure Roberts, Karen Civil, Aventer Gray and more filled the room. There was a spirit of excitement that fell over the room.
After all of the honorees took their seats, the dinner began. Our Founder, Arian Simone shared her testimony and vision for the event. We opened the floor for a fearless table discussion of questions that affect women in all industries.
Shoneji Robinson stated, that as minority women in business we are not given the "grace to make mistakes." Paulina Lopez, Co- Owner of Guelaguetza Restaurant stated that as a Latina women everyday she is fighting for others to see her worth. When Nichole Lynel was asked what is her secret recipe for success she replied, " the secret is you, you are the secret sauce." So many of the women in the room shared their journey, and what they were needing to grow in business.
When people think of entrepreneurship, they tend to see the glitz and glam. That’s because our honorees know how to stay strong in the face of adversity. Most people don’t get to see the amount of work it takes as a women to be successful. This dinner showed that so many women are fighting to leave a legacy for their children to be able to walk through each and every door before them.
