Over the years entrepreneurship amongst women has tremendously increased. Black women have become the fastest growing group of business owners. Starting a business takes courage, faith, tenacity, resources, and support. The more we see people starting businesses and running them successfully, the more we envision ourselves doing the same. As we come towards the end of Women’s History Month we are celebrating 5 female small business owners that we are loving.

1. Jade Purple Brown - She is a New York-based visual artist and graphic designer. She creates bright and bold illustrations for fashion, beauty, and art based brands. Her designs are diverse and relatable for the fearless woman.

2. Mamas Boutique - This is a fashion boutique born in London. The boutique created by Chloe features chic styles designed for women who write their own rules.

3. Pear Nova - This is a nail lacquer company created by Rachel James. Not only is Pear Nova is cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, but it is also luxurious and stylish. They have fun and funky colors with creative names like, “Berry Jane,” and “Dianna Boss.”
